Old Fashioned Sodas and Floats

Both are classic fountain drinks prepared with your choice of ice cream and mixed with one of our flavor options: chocolate, orange, banana, strawberry, peach, root beer, cola, diet cola, blue raspberry, banana, mango, peach, lemonade, pina colada, and cappuccino.

Smoothies

These delicious tropical treats are a refreshing way to cool off your day. Our smoothies come in a variety of special flavors, and our single flavors can be mixed and matched to create your special blend! We use ISLAND OASIS mixes. Our flavors include: strawberry, raspberry, banana, mango, peach, lemonade, pina colada, and cappuccino.

Parfaits all come with FRESH, REAL whipped cream and a cherry.

  • Strawberry comes with layers of strawberry ice cream and fresh strawberry topping with nuts and sprinkles.

  • Black Forest is layered Zanzibar chocolate ice cream, wild cherry topping, and chocolate sprinkles.

  • Rainbow comes with layers of vanilla ice cream with strawberry, pineapple, and chocolate syrup toppings with rainbow sprinkles.

Ice Cream Specialties

  • Mocha Frost is coffee blended with chocolate ice cream, chocolate syrup, and topped with whipped cream and a dusting of cocoa.

  • Caramel Frost is coffee blended with caramel ice cream, caramel sauce, and topped with whipped cream and drizzle of caramel.

  • Cappuccino Frost is coffee blended with vanilla ice cream, vanilla syrup, and topped with whipped cream and a dusting of cinnamon.

  • We are proud to carry FRESH WISCONSIN CHEESE CURDS from Gibbsville of Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin. These curds are the prefect blend of young cheese and salt, with that CLASSIC SQUEAK!! Did you know if your curds lose their squeak in your fridge at home, you can microwave them for about 5 seconds and they will be ready to squeak again for your enjoyment!
  • Blocks of Cheese, Shreds, Spreads, Strings, and Sausage We carry a variety of block cheeses and spreads in flavors such as garlic & herb, colby-jack, mild and sharp cheddar, pepper jack, and smoked. We also carry a variety of summer sausage and turkey sausage.

Drink Recipes Featuring ISLAND OASIS

Storage and Handling of Island Oasis Products

Island Oasis can be stored frozen for up to two years. Keep refrigerated after thawing
Refrigerated Island Oasis shelf life is unopened for 60 days, and opened for 21 days.

All recipes can be on the rocks, in a standard blender with ice to taste, or using an ice shaver machine.

Cheese Recipes

Deep Fried Cheese Curds

1 cup all-purpose flour
1 ½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
2 eggs, beaten
½ cup milk
1 pound Cheese Curds from Sam & Jake’s
1 quart oil for frying

In a medium bowl, fit together the flour, baking powder, and salt.

Stir in the eggs and milk. Mix until smooth. Add more milk for a thinner batter.

Coat the cheese curds with the batter.

Heat the oil in a large, heavy skillet over medium heat.
Fry the coated cheese curds approximately one minute each, until golden brown and drain on paper towels.

Hot Artichoke Dip

4 oz shredded Gibbsville Cheddar Cheese (about ½ cup)
4 oz shredded Gibbsville Montery Jack Cheese (about ½ cup)
2, 7 oz cans green chillies
2, 16 oz cans of water packed artichoke hearts
½ cup parmesan cheese
½ tsp pimento
1 ½ cups mayonnaise

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix all ingredients together in and transfer to a casserole dish.
Bake uncovered for 30 minutes.
Serve with toast points, pita chips, or tortilla chips.

 

From our Northern Neighbors in Wisconsin…Broccoli-Cheddar Cheese Soup

2 TBSP butter
4 cups low fat milk
½ tsp dry mustard
1 package (10 oz) frozen chopped broccoli, thawed and drained
6 oz sharp or extra sharp Gibbsville Cheddar Cheese, shredded
3 TBSP all-purpose flour
¾ tsp salt
¼ tsp cayenne pepper
½ cup finely chopped red bell pepper
½ cup chopped chives or green onion tops

1. Melt butter in large saucepan over medium heat. Add flour; cook and stir 30 seconds or until bubbly. Add milk, salt, mustard, and cayenne pepper; bring to a simmer over high heat, stirring frequently. Add broccoli and red pepper; return to a boil. Reduce heat to low; simmer uncovered 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

2. Add cheese; stir over low heat just until cheese melts (do not boil) Ladle into 4 soup bowls; top with
chives.
